[RULES] Abusive Language Rules

Hello Folks,

Please be advised that the AngelsMU Abusive Language rules in-game and forum has been updated in order to strictly ban players who uses abusive language directly towards any player(s).

Any players who commit or violate the abusive language rules will base on the severity of the offense. Players who are consistent offenders can and may result to permanent account banned or account deletion.

1. Discriminating a Country, Race or Tribe / Religion - will give you 14 days (2 weeks) ban. (Minimum, 5 days character / account ban)
* If you discriminate any of the staff directly with their Country, Race, Tribe or Religion, Gender and Sexual Orientation we will permanently ban your character and account and possible account deletion.

NOTE: Any insults to a country, race, tribe or religion are ban-able. Ban-able in all messaging systems (PM’s or whisper, normal chat, /post or /gpost and inboxes.)

Ban-able: "[Country Name] sucks" - (did not want to mention a specific country).

Not ban-able: "[Country Name] health care system sucks".

2. If you insult a staff IN ANYWAY will result in a permanent character and account ban and possible account deletion.
* Once staff has made a final verdict to a topic or report then it is no longer a discussion. If you do so, your character and account will be suspended without further warning.

3. ANY insults that involve anyone’s family members (Includes: Grandparents, Mom, Dad, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, fiancé, husband or wife, boyfriends and or girlfriends) – we will give you a 5 days character / account ban. (No exception! No family members should be included in your insults.)

NOTE: To make it very specific, only words that can insult your family is considered ban-able. Ban-able in all messaging systems (PM’s or whisper, normal chat, /post or /gpost and inboxes.)

Ban-able: "MotherFc*ker” / “I raped your mom last night”.

Not ban-able: "Call your mom” / “I love your mom”, “Say hi to your mom” / “Hide in your mom’s dress” / “Tell that to your mom”.

4. Any kind of vulgar words posted in /post or /gpost will result in your character / account being ban for 24 hours (ban will be higher depending on how serious the words being used).

NOTE: The /post and /gpost command is meant for questions and answers, selling and buying items, looking for party members or any non-vulgar discussions.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
* If anyone insults any players with foul words such as “F**k you”, “A**hole”, “C*nt”, “Tw*t”, B**ch” and etc. using whisper or PMs and normal chat is NOT considered ban-able. The ONLY time these words are ban-able is when players uses vulgar words on /post or /gpost.
* We will only take action after we receive NON edited evidence (screenshots / videos) which shows clearly a user's illegal behavior and the blue screenshot notification on your chatbox visible or the date and time showing on your desktop must be visible.
* If the IGN (In-Game Name) includes a small letter L and a capital letter i, you MUST provide a detailed explanation in regards to the IGN. For example: IGN exllexIIex - (e, x, small letter L, small letter L, e, x, capital letter i, capital letter i, e, x) - this is to ensure we ban the real person.
* Any non-English language will have to be translated to English language. If the chatbox is FULL of non-English language you must translate to English language so we know what the story behind the insult. (ONLY Translate if you 100% know the language).
* If you report an individual who uses non-English language on /post or /gpost, you MUST show a screenshot or video that you gave a warning to this individual before making any reports.
* Some players will use short form words, numbers, symbols and even backward words so it can't be spelled out. That will also lead to ban.
* Upload ALL screenshots to File.fm, Tiny pic, Photobucket or Imageshack or whichever you prefer as forum attachments for screens is very limited.
Failure to follow our rules and instructions will lead to your forum thread to be permanently closed or deleted without further notice.

Keep in mind that we will not ban players without reasons.
Rules can be changed and or added without prior notice/warning
